Introducing Dadditude

Over the past 50 years or so, being a dad has changed.

The transactional “breadwinner” label that behaved like a mantra for a generation of dads no longer feels right.

Dads want to be a bigger part of their kids lives than ever before.

But where do you turn when things get hard? How do you know where to go when you need help or just want to know you’re on the right track?

We’re building Dadditude, the self-care app helping dads grow as parents and partners.

Our goal for both our app and newsletter is to give dads of all types a clear path to learn, grow and be more confident.

In the coming weeks, we will be publishing interviews with dads from different backgrounds, professional fields and ethnicities to get their insights on what it means to be a dad in the current moment.

We’ll look to answer questions like:

  • How has being a dad changed recently?

  • What stresses dads out most and makes them afraid?

  • What do they see as their strengths in parenting?

  • How do dads help their partners?

  • Where and who do they turn to when they need advice?
